Application
The Network Automation Engine and Network Integration Engine are Web-enabled, Ethermet-based,supervisory devices. Naes monitor and control networds of field-level building automation devices; including Heating, Vetilating,and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment; lighting; security; and fire safety equipmet. Figure 1 shows a typical NAE55 model.
This document describes how to install an NAE55 or NIE55, which are referred to collectively as NAE55 or NAF unless specified otherwise.
Installation
Follow these guidelines when installing an NAE55；
Transport the NAE55 in the original container to minimize vibration and shock damage to the NAE55.
Verify that all the parts shipped with the NAE55. The data protection battery and NAE55 ship together but are packaged separately.
Do not drop the NAE55 or subject it to physical shock.
Do not open the NAE55 housing (except the data protection battery compartmen). The NAE55 has no user-serviceable parts inside.
